In Waterbury, Connecticut, twenty seven year old Claude Porter is released after serving a ten year prison sentence. This is a gritty, unpolished, urban fiction novel that is set in multiple cities. A story of murder, violence, deceit, lust, sex, and betrayal, this fable is based on the dark lives of individuals who rely on animal instinct to get that fast cash.

I absolutely loved this book! Definitely a page turner.Life through the eyes of street hustlers trying to escape the struggle. Although there were a lot of characters, I like how they all connected at some point. It is gritty,realistic & exciting. My heart was racing quite a few times. Claude and Sonya definitely deserve a break in life & I hope they get it. Well done Mr. Jordan, I can't wait for the next one!Product details

Ok, I would have NEVER, found out who this author was if Treasure Blue haven't mention who, and how good this author, Derek Jordan was, and believe me, thankfully I learned to take suggestions. This book was beyond mere URBAN FICTION, it was addiction, because I simply didn't want to put it down nor did I want it to end. Mr. Jordan, if you read this, give us some more!
Once I started reading, I couldn't put it down! Content was real and relatable! Can't wait for part 2!!! I NEED to know what happens next!
Action filled, gritty, street savy read. Hooks you from the first chapter and draws you in till the last. Excellent
Good book! Action packed! Loved how it built so much anticipation.Although a lot of characters and different scenes,the storyline was still consistent and easy to read.
A small world is definitely a good book please how long do I have to wait for part 2 because there is another story to tell and I want to read it and you should too
I could not put this book down. I was so deep into this novel that i felt like I was right there. I love how the Author brought everybody together GREAT JOB.. Waiting on book 2 I know there going to be a book ~K.D.Samuels

I loved the book . When you borrow Mom's car you do have to explain why you didn't bring it back . It was a lot of twist and turns very exciting . A real inside to the bad boy life.
