I literally read book two yesterday straight through, I could *NOT* stop reading!My heart aches for Carmen as she endures more tragedy than I think any one person should have to endure. She clings to her dead husbands best friend Brad, the only guy she thinks cares for her.... better to have a future with someone rather than no one. When she realizes Brad has been lying to her it leads her to some investigative work that uncovers more secrets about her husband and Brad and a surprise ending so shocking that made me click to buy the next two books quickly. I woke up at 6 am and by 11 I was done with book 3! lol. Trust me..... this series grabs you by the heart and throat and won't let go.
As I said in my previous review on book one, unless you have survived multiple tragedies, much less multiple tragedies so close together, do you have any idea of the things that you will do and say. Carmen has struggled through multiple tragedies so close together, it's no wonder she clings to the first person who seems to care. When your world is falling apart, someone seemingly willing to help you put the pieces back together is hard to resist, even when it's a huge JERK like Brad.
Honestly, with every book this series only gets better and better.
Ok... off to write the review for book 3.... so I can finally finish reading this crazy story. A++++

It was a very good book, very suspenseful I definitely always wanted to keep reading, I am not really into the books being broken up the way these are but I had already started reading before I realized and like I said once I started I couldn't stop
Order it while in Mexico as the followup to Eternity. Had to see what happened
This is an awesome series where you get the perspective of the characters in depth and how many layers they have. More please!
Carmen oh Carmen. That poor woman. I won't go into detail. My heart absolutely broke for her. I wish I could just wrap my arms around her and tell her she will get through this. The last chapter in the book brought up so many questions that you can probably figure out on your own. I can't wait to read the next book. I would recommend this book if you have read the rest of the books.
5 stars!!! Because each book in this series just keeps me glued to my kindle. As I write this review I am struggling to just say screw it and download the next book, and I will, because it is that good!. I recommend this series to anyone who loves to get lost in a good read. I can't wait to find out what Carmen learns of her dead psychotic husbands past and how her new "interest" ties into all this.
Carmen just lost her husband Grayson who hung himself. Now she's having complications with her pregnancy. She tries to call Owen but his girlfriend Answered the phone. So who's left Greyson's best friend Brad. Owen has a bad feeling about Brad and warns Carmen, but she needs to find out the truth about Brad herself. What she finds out may want Carmen to really take a closer look at brad. Great read. Couldn't put down. Now on to book 3 of this 4 book series.
